"Gimme a bullet to bite on . . " the late, great Bon Scott once sang,
and the Herd had plenty to chew on when Bullet took to the Comrades stage on Friday 18th May. Shooting from the hip, the lads tore through tracks by Ozzy, Van Halen, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Muse, and a couple from Judas Priest for good measure. Bon Jovi in the second set, ensured the dancers hit the floor, throwing shapes like their lives depended on it. Set up and ready to Rock by 8.30pm, great sound and lights, great banter with the crowd, topped off by an eclectic set-list, all this together made for a crackin' night.Thanks lads, look forward to your return (or, as the song says, "wait for the ricochet!")

The Force
A band that need little in the way of introduction from me; The Force have been around for many years and in a lot of respects set the standard for rock acts on the North East circuit - musicians musician's I've heard them referred to, and their shows are a tour de force of their abilities. Featuring their own material as well as stuff from Rainbow, Joe Satriani, Rush, UFO & Michael Schenker Group, Thunder & The Foo Fighters. Expect a cracking sound and a small army of roadies - the Force will be with you on 25th May.
