We are very lucky to have a fantastic network of bars in the North East who support live music.
Any night of the week you can choose from dozens of great bands who will be playing just a few miles away. Usually, there's not even an entry fee & the standard of musicianship is almost always of the highest order.

Here at Buffalos, we are offering a little more, and asking more of you.

Based in Buffs Social Club, Houghton-le-Spring, Buffalos benefits from the excellent facilities, great prices & warm welcome of the club, while being ran as an independent music venue.

This independence allows us to bring you a fantastic line-up of bands from all over the UK & beyond.
Some great tribute bands, original artists & absolute legends are booked to play at Buffalos over the coming months, along with the very best of the local talent.

In addition to the great live bands on show, there will be a rock disco before the bands go on, and for an hour after the set is complete.
And yes, you can dance in the first set, before, during and after the band - just enjoy yourselves.
Anyone who fondly recalls the halcyon days of the Mayfair, or even the Greenbank, may sense a touch of deja vu while throwing a few shapes on the dancefloor.

Ticket prices are set as low as possible, and it is usually cheaper to buy a ticket in advance than pay on the door, but staging a top rock event is not a cheap business & we need to pay the piper.
The more people who support our Friday Rocks! at Buffalos, the lower we can set the admission fee, so if you have a good time, tell everyone about it & drag them down - they'll thank you for it.
